Putting the closing curtains on a spectacular Melbourne Cup Carnival, Nature Strip unleashed a dominant display to take out the Group One sprinting crown of the Flemington Carnival. Not giving an inch to the rest of the field, the chestnut gelding surged down the straight leaving Swat’s That and Bella Nipotina behind to further solidify his status as the world’s top rated sprinter. With seven Group One triumphs, an Everest and back-to-back Australian Sprinter of the Year titles to his name, Nature Strip is assured a position in the modern pantheon of greats.
